The following opportunity has arisen for a consultant to work with the North East Museums, Libraries and Archives Council: NEMLAC are seeking a consultant to carry out a scoping study to assess the current state of digitisation infrastructure, software and skills available within the North East region, measuring its capacity to deal with current needs and anticipated digitisation needs within the period 2003/2010, and to propose a model for a regional digitisation centre - real or virtual - to deal with anticipated needs.
