I am organising a library Study tour to Cuba in June 2003. The tour will include attendance at the Libraries in the Third World Forum that will be held during the Culture and Development 3rd Congress in Havana from 9-12 June. The itinerary will be 8-22 June - 14 nights and 15 days: 8 nights in Havana 2 nights in Cienfuegos 2 nights in Trinidad 2 nights in Santa Clara All types of libraries will be visited including the National Library, National Archives, Havana University Library, Provincial public libraries. The programme includes an English speaking guide, accomodation in good quality hotels and most meals. The price, which includes return flights from London to Havana, will be in the region of £1000 per person, sharing a twin room. If you are interested in going, I need to know by the end of April. I need between 8-16 people to make this viable.
