I can see why Elspeth supports the decision not to debate this issue within the Update pages - it would need its own supplement (Downbeat?).
Seriously (as if it wasn't serious enough already), at the end of a CV of whatever length comes "retirement". Yes, it's true, I can vouch for it! (after 42 years in the public sector). Then the CV starts all over again!
