Amnesty International is seeking a professionally qualified librarian to fill the demanding post of Information Officer (Middle East and North Africa) as part of a team of six specialist Information Officers.
You will have experience of working with and seeking new sources for published material dealing with current issues in Middle East and North Africa and with database, spreadsheet and library management software, as well as the ability to keep records accurately and systematically and to monitor and report expenditure.
You will have experience of working in a busy service team, sharing responsibilities and tasks, with an understanding of the need for good communication.
Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic are essential for this job, a knowledge of French or Spanish would be an asset.
