CORRECTION - Meeting is on Tuesday 15th July and not the 13th July. Apologies to all and thanks to Geoffrey Roper for pointing out the error. MELCOM (U.K.) Call for items for the agenda of the next meeting of MELCOM (U.K.) to be held in The University of Exeter, at 2.15 pm on Tuesday 15th July. 2003. Please send any items that you would like to raise at the next MELCOM (U.K.) Meeting to the secretary by the 21st June 2003, and any items you may have for the Developments in Member Libraries section to be included in the minutes of the last meeting by the same date. (The early date is caused by my absence from the country between then and the 13th July.) The first substantive item on the agenda will be a discussion of suitable responses to the crisis in Iraqi Libraries. The business meeting will be preceded by the Fourth Pearson Lecture which will be delivered by John McIlwaine. The title is "Crossing the bibliographical Sahara: uncertainties in the relationship between the bibliography of the Middle East and North Africa and of Africa South of the Sahara".
