Dear All, I asked recently if anyone knew of any mailing lists (discussion lists) for practitioners in a number of specialties. Here are the suggestions I received: The National Electronic Library for Health (NeLH) links to discussion lists within its professional portals. NeLH is at www.nelh.nhs.uk NMAP and OMNI can be used to find mailing lists: it is a search limit in the advanced search. http://nmap.ac.uk, http://www.omni.ac.uk CataList, the official catalogue of Listserv lists, is at http://www.lsoft.com/lists/listref.html. HealthWeb (a recent topic of conversation on Medlib-L) also lists discussion lists on its subject pages. HealthWeb is now at www.healthweb.org JISCMAIL, the home of many academic lists, is at: www.jiscmail.ac.uk. There are other lists of lists at: http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/ http://www.tile.net/ http://www.liszt.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/ My thanks to everyone who made suggestions.
