CILIP Free Programme at Knowledge Management Europe

Mark Field, Information and Knowledge Manager for the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals, today released the first view of the CILIP Free Programme at Knowledge Management Europe 2003 at the RAI Exhibition and Congress Centre in Amsterdam.

Following the fairly loose theme of 'People and Technology: getting the mix right' this programme will be ideal for anyone who is interested in the links between information management and knowledge management: how do they connect, and what are the cross-benefits? How has knowledge management influenced practise in information management? What established information management practices has knowledge management taken from information management, and how have they been applied?

This programme features a mix of presentations and workshops that will provide insight into new developments and emerging practise in information management which supports better knowledge sharing and discovery. They are open to any delegate attending KME 2003. Registration for the exhibition, most of the conference and the CILIP Programme is free, and it is possible to keep travel and accommodation costs below Ł200. KME is Europe's largest and most influential knowledge management event.
