Head Of Knowledge Management Cheshire and Merseyside Strategic Health Authority £50,000 - £60,000 per annum Cheshire and Merseyside Strategic Health Authority HEAD OF KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT £50 - £60K per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen with Cheshire and Merseyside SHA to lead the development of Knowledge Management both within the SHA and across the organisations within its boundary. You will have responsibility for developing effective strategies that promote the use and dissemination of knowledge as an aid to effective management and decision making throughout the area. This will include specific responsibility for developing knowledge management as a concept within the SHA, for ensuring that it is integral to decision-making and for devising and implementing a programme of work to achieve successful implementation. Working with PCTs and NHS Trusts, you will also contribute to the development of coherent approaches to the implementation of knowledge management throughout all 33 organisations within the area. You will be a graduate with experience in the field of knowledge management. You will have excellent communication skills, be highly motivated and persuasive and be able to demonstrate innovative and pragmatic approaches to your work. This is a fixed term appointment/secondment opportunity for 2 years. The post holder will have dual accountability to both the Assistant Chief Executive - for the SHAs corporate developments and to the Chief Information Officer for progressing developments with PCTs and NHS Trusts.
