Hi Everyone - I'm in the middle of an unpleasant wrangle with the IT
dept over this issue at the moment. Sorry to ask you to do this again
but I would be most interested in your experiences.
Another issue has come to light associated with this software that we
have in place in our trust. A large number of blocks as you know are
nothing to with people trying to access porn. When I attempted an
experiment using google as my search engine
 - i typed in adult respiratory distress syndrome knowing that the bad
word of the day was adult. I was denied access to any results but the
incident was logged and the reason was "porn". The log contains many
many erroneous incidents and I am concerned who has access to this
information and what it could be used for?

I am sending this e-mail from a pc that has direct internet access and
will receive your replies on it too. Any e-mail sent to my office
computer which is networked i would not be able to open if the word porn
was included in the text!
Hey Ho - isn't life wonderful.
