Learning Resources Officers
The Community College, Hackney
Grade: Sc5 for both posts.
Salary: £19,191 - £20,805 (including London Weighting)
Are you seeking to develop your career in information management and
would like to work in a an educational setting where you can make a real
contribution to student achievement?
Our Learning Resources Service is seeking to fill two vacancies
suitable for newly qualified information professionals.
1. To assist in the running of the Learning Centre at our new London
Fields Campus, which offers mainly ESOL Courses. This post also has
responsibility for assisting in the maintenance of the LRS web gateway
and intranet pages.
2. To assist in the running of our busy Learning Centre at the
Shoreditch Campus. This post has responsibility for supporting the IT
curriculum area and assisting with the development of the Curriculum and
Staff Development collection.
Both posts involve some cataloguing.
You will have excellent IT skills and previous experience of library
work. These posts would suit those who would enjoy providing a service
to a lively and diverse community
35 hours per week.
