The seminar will be participative throughout. In the initial sessions participants will explore the theory and practice of workplace training and coaching. This will be followed by the opportunity to design a training session on a topic of the participant's choice. As Head of Library & Information Science at Edinburgh's Telford College she managed programmes for the education and training of para-professional staff throughout the UK. In 1991 Sheila set up her own training and consultancy firm, specialising in delivering training in the library and information sector. The course costs £60 to attend.
