Our experience has been identical to Angela's. It took us weeks of phone calls and ever increasing stroppiness to get hold of consignment stickers. Ryan Murphy, our contact was particularly elusive and failed to return several calls. I think it may be a matter of getting hold of someone who knows what they're doing when you phone Customer Services. All the other items of stationery seem to come automatically having been triggered by the use of a particular number from the pad. However, this doesn't seem to happen with the consigned labels. I was assured three times that they were on their way but none arrived. An insistent call to customer services then resulted in the arrival of a pad of consignment notes when I had quite specifically asked for the barcoded labels! I finally got through to a very helpful girl in customer services - I told her we were having to send everything by Royal Mail (I had long since run out of labels) and would consider terminating our contract. The labels then arrived within 3 or 4 days. I think the only way is to get a bit stroppy! It is a shame, because the actual service we get from our driver cannot be faulted. It seems that the services at Head Office don't compare. ====================================================== Angela Faunch * Document Delivery Supervisor * Templeman Library University of Kent at Canterbury * Kent CT2 7NU Tel 01227 823566 * Fax 01227 827107 * [log in to unmask] ====================================================== ----- Original Message ----- From: Inter-Library Loans <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, June 03, 2003 3:29 PM Subject: Hays DX > To ILL Depts. > > Has anyone else experienced problems in getting stationery from Hays DX? > > We ordered some "consigned" labels at the end of April & have still not > received them despite constant phone calls to them (& emails).
