How accessible is your library?  Practical approaches to the Disability
Discrimination Act (DDA)
Tuesday May 20th 9.30am to 4.30pm, De Montfort University, Milton Keynes

The Open University Library is hosting a Disability Awareness Day on
behalf of SEMLAC and BBi, which will cover the FE and HE perspective, how
to make your website accessible and discuss some of the equipment and
software available to help disabled users make the most of library
resources.  You will also have the opportunity to discuss your experiences
and concerns with colleagues. Speakers include:

David Crozier, Bradford College
Lawrie Phipps, TechDis
Phil Satchell, Centre for Assistive Technology (CATER), The Open University

Attendance is free, but places are limited so could you please book by
12th May.  Contact details for booking are on the attached flyer.  A more
detailed programme and directions to the venue will be sent when places
are confirmed.
