The Faraday Discussion volumes published by the Royal Society of Chemistry are based on Faraday Discussion meetings, held three times a year. Historically the print volume is published with the year of the meeting on the cover. However, owing to shortened publication times, for two Discussion meetings in any year the meeting year is different from the subscription year, for example: Volume 117, meeting in Sept 2000, in subscription 2001 Volume 118, meeting in April 2001, in subscription 2001 Volume 119, meeting in July 2001, in subscription 2002 Volume 120, meeting in Sept 2001, in subscription 2002 Volume 121, meeting in April 2002, in subscription 2002 Volume 122, meeting in June 2002, in subscription 2003 Volume 123, meeting in Sept 2002, in subscription 2003 Volume 124, meeting in April 2003, in subscription 2003 To overcome any confusion we are changing the year on the print volume cover and spine to match the subscription year. This will start from volume 122 (the next in line to be published) and volumes 122-124 will thus be labelled as 2003. The volumes associated with an annual subscription will remain unchanged.
