We have the same problem with the "Aslib via Emerald" titles. The confusion
is compounded by the fact that we have other Emerald titles to which we DO
have IP-authenticated access.

Our user follows the Aslib title link to Emerald and is greeted by "Welcome
NUI Maynooth ... you do NOT currently have a subscription to this title".
When they use Emerald's additional login link to enter the Aslib username
and password, they get full access to the title but with "Welcome, ASLIB
member" as the greeting.

There doesn't seem to be sufficient communication between Aslib and Emerald
to facilitate subscribers who want to retain their institutional identity
at the destination site.
