The event might be "free" in the sense that there is no seminar fee, but there is a hidden cost - an hour and a quarter on the phone to the west coast of the States! (You are being asked to connect 15 minutes before the start at 8 a.m local time, 4.00 p.m our time, so it is not off-peak) Unless you have direct dialling facilities from your phone, I imagine you will need to get somebody's okay to participate.
