System Analysts (Role
1)
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Contractor will be
required to develop and test engineering
drawing/engineering information
management applications based on Intergraph
SmartPlant PID, INTOOLS and
SmartPlant Foundation. He will be required to
develop and configure
applications based on defined user requirements and
prepare required
documentation, including both program-level and user-level
documentation. He
may also be required to provide basic training to users in
these applications
and also provide daily assistance while users are
developing their
expertise.
SKILLS REQUIRED AND ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
The consultant is required to have
a Bachelor degree in Engineering,
Computer Science Information Systems, or
other related discipline. The
position requires a minimum of seven years
experience in the support of
process plant software, of which at least five
years must be specialized.
Specialized experience includes supporting 2D and
3D plant design systems
such as Intergraph's PDS. A minimum of two years
experience in support of
Intergraph's SmartPlant PID and/or SmartPlant
Foundation systems is
required. Candidate must demonstrate proven ability to
work independently or
under only general direction on complex application
problems involving all
phases of systems analysis.
System Analysts (Role
2)
DESCRIPTION OF
WORK:
1. Analyze image data requirements for user departments.
2.
Implements and manages image databases, maps and related products.
3. Conduct
technical reviews of GIS systems involving imagery, remote
sensing and
photogrammetry applications.
4. Perform image processing analysis and
integrates image related products
into GIS mapping projects.
5. Provide
technical assistance and training to user departments.
6. Write documentation
on procedures, standards and training requirements.
7. Perform digital image
processing including: satellite image manipulation,
aerial photo
interpretation and data analysis.
8. Coordinate the acquisition of
imageries.
SKILLS REQUIRED AND ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Computer
Science,
Geography, Information Systems, or related field. Masters degree
preferred.
A minimum of ten years experience in Information Technology, of
which five
years as image processing analyst.
* *High level of
understanding of remote sensing with
expertise in at least one of the
following areas: Multispectral Theory,
Hyperspectral Theory, RADAR or Aerial
Photo Interpretation.
* * High level of knowledge of RS/GIS software
with
proficiency in at least one of the following: ERDAS Imagine, ENVI,
PCI
Geomatica, ER Mapper or Idrisi.
* Knowledge of data formats, camera
sensor models and ground
data acquisition.
System Analysts (Role
3)
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
1- Develop
and test GIS applications based on the defined user requirements
and prepare
required documentation, including both program level and
user-level
documentation. These applications will be developed using ESRI's
suite of
products (i.e. ArcObjects, ArcIMS, ArcInfo, ArcPad, ..etc)
2- Design and
produce maps and other graphic products using ESRI tool set.
3- Maintain the
enterprise GIS data model and enforce its standards.
4- Design and implement
data conversion procedures.
5- Provide technical assistance to user
departments in implementing GIS
projects including training employees in GIS
procedures and software.
6- Develop Internet-based applications and web sites
using ArcIMS, software
application development.
7- Administer and Tune
ESRI's Spatial Data Engine (SDE).
8- Perform Spatial analysis, data
management, and interfacing GIS with
relational
databases.
SKILLS REQUIRED AND ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in GIS,
Remote Sensing, Computer Science, Geography,
Information Systems, or related
field. Masters degree preferred. The
position requires a minimum of ten years
experience in Information
Technology, of which at least five years must be
specialized in the analysis
and design of GIS applications. A minimum of 3
years experience in
developing applications with
ESRI's ArcGIS 8.x or
ArcIMS 3.x tool set is a must. Programming experience
with Java for web based
ArcIMS is required and Visual Basic for ArcGIS
based
applications.
Knowledge ArcSDE administration &
Tuning.
Experience with ArcPad application builder, Map Objects, XML,ASP, and
Java
Scripts
knowledge of Satellite and Aerial image processing
techniques.
System Analysts (Role 4)
DESCRIPTION OF
WORK:
1- Administer and Tune ESRI's Spatial Data Engine (SDE).
2-
Develop SDE APIs using JAVA.
3- Design and produce maps and other graphic
products using ESRI tool set.
4- Store and manage raster images into SDE
.
5- Develop mapping file using Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) for
data
conversion.
6- Develop GIS Data Model using UML.
7- Provide
technical assistance to user departments in implementing GIS
projects
including training employees in GIS procedures
and software.
8- Perform
Spatial analysis, data management, and interfacing GIS with
relational
databases.
SKILLS REQUIRED AND ESSENTIAL
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Computer
Science, Geography,
Information Systems, or related field. Masters degree
preferred. The
position requires a minimum of ten years experience in
Information
Technology, of which at least five years must be specialized in
the analysis
and design of GIS applications. A minimum of 3 years experience
in SDE
dministration and Tuning. Solid understanding of GIS
coordinate/projections
systems is also required.
Experience in FME
programming. Understanding of MicroStation file structure.
Programming
experience using ArcGIS 8.x or ArcIMS 3.x, ArcPad, Map Objects,
and Java
Scripts Knowledge in image processing software such as ER-Mapper
or
ERDAS.
