We urgently require a Data Production Assistant to work for our client in Exeter, Devon who specialise in GIS solutions and are the UKs leading supplier of digital mapping, property and environmental risk information. Your responsibilities will be: · To undertake quality assurance upon any geo-coded data received from external parties to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance to internal specification. · To manipulate and geo-code text based data sets to the specified format prior to loading into the internal Information system. · Successfully manipulate data in the required time-scales and to the specified quality and format. · Deal with customer queries relating to order entry errors including inaccurate position data and incorrectly despatched items. · Adherence to turnaround target times. You are required to be computer literate, have GIS experience coupled with database and data mapping skills.
