JOB VACANCY- Senior GIS Consultant-Salary to £30,000-Location Central London

The Senior GIS Consultant will bring expert knowledge of application building, data management, geodata processing and spatial data modelling technologies.  A significant part of his/her daily work will involve using GIS tools to add value to client projects, project management, client liaison, and providing technical advice and input on projects.  In addition to the technical facets of the projects, the Senior GIS Consultant will provide valuable input towards policy issues.  Specifically this might include new data sourcing and licencing, setting and managing service level agreements and other contractual issues.

A suitable profile will have accrued in excess of 3 years practical experience, ideally with a multi-discipline engineering consultancy, in addition to attaining a first and second degree qualification.

Good client facing experience is essential.

Experience of key data products, i.e. MasterMap, LandLine, etc is a bonus

ArcView 3.2, MapInfo Pro6, ArcGIS(Migration planned in the near future), ArcSDE, Oracle 8+
