Description:
You will work for 23 hours a week in the departmental office, and for 12 hours a week in the Ure Museum of Classical Archaeology. Duties will include preparation of documents, data-entry, filing, and general assistance in the administration of the Department. The successful applicant will have responsibility for the organization of Open Days for prospective applicants. As Assistant Curator, the successful applicant will assist the Curator in all areas of museum work and development. The successful applicant will also have responsibility for the running of the Museum's Education and Learning service.

You should be IT literate with previous office experience. A knowledge of the basics of museum work is essential and experience of working with the public, especially children will be advantageous.
