The postholder will be involved in developing a website which can be used by schools, local history societies, community groups, specialists and others interested in the history and archaeology of their area, therefore it is essential that the successful candidate is computer literate. You must have at least two years' experience in archaeology, heritage or museums and be experienced in working with groups of different ages and abilities. You must also have a degree in Archaeology or a related subject, be an effective communicator with good organisational skills, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the value of learning through museum objects.
