In answer to Ross, if he's interested in films other than Hollywood, he should look at Djibril Diop Mambety's La Petite Vendeuse du Soleil, and Mansour Sora Wade's Picc Mi, two African films available on video from California Newsreel. The latter is a video called Three Tales From Senegal. They are wonderful short films about street children surviving in the city. Jane
