Being on the list just for a couple of days, I do not know whether it was mentioned before: The scene in Zentropa by Lars von Trier in which the protagonist is drowning inside the conductor's cabin of a car train. A very disturbing scene indeed, even more so because of von Sydow's voice which says "On the count of ten you will be dead" and starts counting. Alexey Fuchs
