Rebecca, We employ a part time 0.5fte student mental health advisor at UCN, and hope to increase this to full time (by appointing a second 0.5fte post) due to the level of demand. I now wonder how we managed before this post was created as part of an earlier round of HEFCE projects. The person emplpyed has a background in clinical psychology, but mental health nursing would be an alternative. We are currently reviewing the job description. Any information about their job role, job spec, qualifications, salary etc gratefully received as I am looking into getting funding for such a post.
