This is just outside the DP Act but I would welcome any comments or guidance. A relative of a deceased person has requested copies of the Social Services file - should we supply ? should we edit? Should we insist on a court order? My initial concern is the distress the contents may cause along with subsequent legal actions for whatever reasons plus all the normal DP problems of disclosure (3rd party etc).. Anybody dealt with this before?
