The 2004 International Workshop of Business and Information is to be held at
the Chientan Youth Activity Center, Taipei City, Taiwan, March 26, 2004.
Papers are invited from all related areas of Business and Information. The
scholars are encouraged to submit papers on any aspect of business and
Information including but not limited to the following topics:

FINAL PAPER FORMAT
The final version should be submitted electronically via email attachment or
by hardcopy and diskette.  Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft
Word.  If you have complex tables, diagrams, or symbols in the paper, please
send a hardcopy to us for proofreading purposes.  Guidelines and a sample
first page will be mailed with the letter of acceptance and are available on
our website.  In general, the paper must be prepared the way you want it to
appear in the program.

CONFERENCE FEE
The 2004 International Workshop of Business and information registration fee
is US$200 per person.  All attending conference participants must pay the
registration fee and at least one author per paper must attend.  The fee for
each additional paper presented is $50. Paying the registration fee entitles
authors to give an approximate 20 minute presentation per paper, admission
to all presentations, and to receive a copy of the conference program and
proceedings.  The conference fee must be received by February 15, 2004 to
assure conference participation.  Please contact us in advance if the
conference fee will be late so we can plan for your attendance. There will
be no refunds on cancellations received after February 25, 2004.

accommodation. If your manuscript is accepted, you will then receive some

IMPORTANT DATE
Papers and abstracts must be received by December 31, 2003.  Please email a
full paper or an abstract to Dr Maria Lee at [log in to unmask] or mail to
Department of Information Management, Shih-Chien University, 70 Da-Chih St.,
Taipei City 10497, Taiwan. The use of email and email attachments is
encouraged for all correspondence; however, authors may still send us a
hardcopy and diskette via the mail. Please provide name, mailing address,
and email address, institutional affiliation (including academic department)
for all authors and specify a contact author. Please contact us if you will
be late.  Emails of acceptance or rejection will be transmitted within two
week.  The final version of the manuscript and the conference fee must be
received by February 15, 2004.

Best papers will be considered for publication in the International Journal
of Business and Information (ISSN 1728-8673). It is a new journal sponsored
by the Academy of Taiwan Information System Research. The inaugural issue
will be published in December 2004.
