PSS02/02 A full-time research assistant is required, starting March 2003 or as soon as possible thereafter, for three years. The post is tied to an ESRC project investigating online advice seeking in the health and fitness domains. The successful candidate will be required to undertake research investigations using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. A good first degree in psychology or a closely related subject is required and candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate an interest in health issues and show some knowledge of research in human-computer interaction. It may be possible for the successful candidate to register for a Ph.D. The post will be located in the Psychology Division which supports an active research community and which received a 4 in the 2001 research assessment exercise.
