A strong emphasis of GROUP 03 is the integration of multiple computer-based tools and technologies. Relevant issues include the design, implementation, deployment, evaluation, research methodologies, and impact of these systems. GROUP03 is sponsored by the Association for Computing Machinerys Special Interest Group on Supporting Group Work (ACM SIG GROUP). Scope GROUP '03 will integrate two themes of research: the organizational and behavioral issues and the modeling and implementation issues associated with group work. It brings together researchers and practitioners from different areas working on the development, introduction, management, deployment, and analysis of computer-b7ased systems supporting group work within organizations. Program The conference program includes workshops on Sunday, an opening breakfast session on Monday, poolside conference reception Monday night, conference banquet on Tuesday, and the presentation of the SigGroup Team award, and paper sessions Monday , Tuesday, and Wednesday. SIGGROUP Team Award for Significant Contribution The award will be given to a multi-disciplinary team of two or more people in recognition of their contribution to the advancement of the state-of-the-art in group work and groupware. Teams whose contributions were realized within the last five years are eligible for nomination. Nominations must be received by 1 October 2003. Sanibel Island lies off the southwest coast of Florida near the city of Fort Myers. This resort offers a mile of beach, twelve tennis, five heated pools, three restaurants, pool side bar and grill, Deli/sundry store, tennis pro shop/boutique, and on-site rentals of bicycles, jogging strollers, catamarans, sea kayaks and boogie boards.
