Rebecca, Grateful for your Weinberger reference - what reasons does he give for this change in perspective in the new generation of Mexican poets? I've been trying to remember the name of a Mexican poet who wrote a poem I was very struck by called 'El Puerco' (or 'cerdo') - over-50 (and overweight)if that helps!
