The remit is the design of robots using ideas from biology; mostly designing robots based on animals (or plants) I suppose. But there's no reason why we shouldn't have something related to the various structures which animals make for themselves, which are an expression of their behaviour. So if you can either discuss whether robots would do better if they used enclosures based on natural systems, or can suggest designs of robot which might be able to build or influence their own environment, then tell me more! Meanwhile, enjoy your Christmas berak Julian Quoting petra gruber <[log in to unmask]>: > julian, > i am interested in the robot - workshop, can you tell me more? > we can offer experience in architecture, bionics and space design. > more information will be available after christmas holidays. > > regards, > petra gruber > > > -- > > univ.ass. dipl.ing. petra gruber > > institut fuer hochbau fuer architekten _ institute for design and building > construction _ h. richter > > karlsplatz 13 | 270 2 _ A - 1040 wien _ tel +43-1-58801-27022 _ fax > +43-1-58801-27092 > > [log in to unmask] _ www.hb2.tuwien.ac.at >
