Firstly, thanks you to all of you getting your stories in the press. Our cuttings service has picked up over 20 articles already. Particular congratulations to Bristol Record Office for getting on page 9 of The Times. To have placed an advert that size would have cost around £13,000! It also reached almost three-quarters of a million readers! Just to let you know that the template press release (in Word) is now on the AAM website at: http://www.aamsept2003.com/materials/pressreleasetemplate.doc For those of you who have got your releases ready already, the template contains a nice quote from Katie Norgrove (Policy & Development Officer, NCA). There are also some 'Notes to Editors' you may find useful. I have also added some tips for writing press releases. Main points to remember is to plug the website! Something to bear in mind - some of the articles printed so far have called it 'National AAM'. Please make clear to journalists that it is a national campaign with a small 'n'! Finally, best of luck as September approaches.
