Imperial College London Assistant Corporate Records Manager ALC Grade 2: £23,259 - £31,755 (Inclusive of London Weighting) Applications are invited for an enthusiastic records management professional to join the team of Corporate Records Manager (College Archivist) and Administrative Assistant in the newly formed Corporate Records Unit of Imperial College's Central Secretariat. A records management project using a database system has been underway for three years and is now being expanded to comply with the Freedom of Information Act 2000. In the first instance, the goal is the implementation of the College-wide records management project for compliance by 2005. Thereafter it is to assist with the smooth running of the records management system and its development, management of the storage areas, including fetching of records and other relevant duties. Applicants will possess a postgraduate qualification in Archives and Records Management and have demonstrable records management experience. Good IT skills are essential, as is the ability to work both with a team and with some initiative, and to communicate effectively with College members at all levels.
