THE HIGHLAND COUNCIL CHIEF EXECUTIVE’S OFFICE, ELECTRONIC GOVERNMENT TEAM SENIOR BUSINESS SUPPORT OFFICER – INFORMATION MANAGEMENT AND COMPLIANCE GRADE PO3-6: £26,250 - £28,578 The Highland Council is seeking to recruit an Information Management and Compliance Officer to develop, implement and manage corporate information standards at all levels across the Council, in a mixed electronic and paper environment, including compliance with the Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts and Information Security in accordance with BS 7799. The post will involve leadership of the Council’s Information Management Group and management of the Council’s Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS). Candidates should hold a relevant degree or equivalent and preferably a professional information management qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar post.
