Lectureships in Demography and Statistics, Social Statistics, University of Southampton. http://www.socstats.soton.ac.uk/jobs/ Social Statistics is seeking to appoint three Lecturers to join a research group of international standing. At least one appointment will be in Demography and at least one other in Statistics. For all three positions you will ideally hold, or be about to receive, a doctoral degree in demography or statistics, or have equivalent research experience. You will be expected to contribute to the Department’s teaching programmes, particularly courses related to the BSc Population Sciences degree and the MSc Social Statistics degree. Applications for the Demography positions are invited from candidates with expertise in any area of Demography, but are particularly welcome from those with an interest in migration, population and the environment, population projections and the demography of developed countries. Applications for the Statistics positions are invited from candidates with an interest in statistical modelling, particularly of social science data, and of survey sampling.
