Here at Plymouth, we have to request suitable rooms from a
Central Room Booking office - we do not have any rooms under
our control (unfortunately!) There are two levels of charge for
the hire of the room depending upon whether it is for another
educational or charitable institution (£8.00 p/hr) or commercial
body (£10.00 p/hr)- VAT will be charged where necessary.
On top of this, I charge for invigilation at £10.00 p/hr x length
of exam plus 45 minutes for one candidate and double if more than
one. In addition, I charge an Admin fee of £20.00 for the first
exam and £10 for all other exams. This fee would normally cover
postage unless anything out of the ordinary is requested.

At Aston, we charge £6-50 per hour for the invigilator plus courier
costs.
