Our MAU are asking for a quick POCT test for a drug screen before they treat addicts claiming to be on heroin/methadone .

At Medica I saw a product for salivary drug screen by a US company Syntron Bioresearch (www.syntron.net). The sensitivity they are claiming, all in ng/ml are:
Opiates  30
Cannabis 20
Cocaine/BE 30
Methadone 30
Amphetamine 50
Me Amphet 50
Benzodiazepines 50

Questions:
1. Does anyone have experience with this kit - has it been evaluated?
2. Are these sensitivities appropriate for salivary testing?
3. How long after a dose would these limits detect useage?
4. Are any UK companies considering being a distributer? I guess that would depend on the answers to the previous questions.
5. Are there better kits available in the UK which have been evaluated?

I would appreciate any feedback on this.
