We use a commercial software package called Visual Staff Scheduler. I
haven't personally used it but the technologist who does our staff
scheduling likes it, and if you reply privately I can give you her e-mail
address to ask her questions.
The website in the USA is http://www.abs-usa.com/index.epl

Subject: roster generation

Dear colleagues
can anyone help me find a web-site or other calculator that can help draw up
staff rosters for 24/7 cover, given some simple rules about things like
maximum hours on duty?
thanks
