LLPG/GIS Technician (3 - 6 month contract) South West of England Hourly rate is dependent on experience and is negotiable. My client requires an LLPG/GIS Technician to improve their LLPG and ensure that all errors and omissions are resolved so it can be used with confidence for e-government initiatives. We require a GIS Technician with an understanding of the BS7666 format with a minimum of 2 years experience using GIS, preferably MapInfo. Experience of using, designing and querying database (preferably MS Access) is required and any experience of using the MapInfo BS7666 Toolkit is preferred, although experience of other gazetteer management systems will be considered.
