I have had an enquiry from a group of freelance educators regarding CRB checks. They sometimes work independently, and at other times work as freelancers at a museum. They are keen to have their checks completed, but are unsure of the level of check required and the cost to them as individuals. The question was also raised of the museum possibly being able to have the check done on their behalf, so again what might this cost be? I seem to recall this being dicussed previously on the list earlier this year, and can find some messages regarding CRB checks in general, but not the ones on the issue of freelancers. I'd be most grateful for any advice/experiences anyone can offer.
