There is a suitably icy feel to the Archives Hub for January, with the
Scottish National Antarctic Expedition collections taking up position in
the 'Collection of the Month' slot.

The expedition was under way 100 years ago, during the 'Heroic Age' of
polar exploration (1895-1917). It was led by William Speirs Bruce.

This archive is held at the Scott Polar Research Institute in Cambridge and
the museum there is currently holding an exhibition to commemorate the
expedition.

The description of the collection and some images of the expedition can be
found at <http://www.archiveshub.ac.uk/jan03.shtml>.
