More news of the contraction of geography in British universities. Two more universities have closed their Geography Departments: Roehampton (part of Surrey University but located in south London), and Middlesex University (in north London). These closures, plus the closure of geography at South Bank University and and the merger of SOAS with Kings, mean that four geography programmes have been closed in London alone in the past two years.
