We are currently under way with plans to introduce a dedicated mobile
service to old people's homes and sheltered accommodation across
Worcestershire. The vehicle will be somewhere round 4.5 tonnes, with an
intended stock of about 1000 items. We have looked at a couple of examples
of the vehicle itself, and have been able to gain useful information on
routing, scheduling etc.

Would anyone possibly be able to share any job descriptions of a
driver/assistant and assistant with us? We are aware that some authorities
run routes where vehicles are single-manned, and some are two person. This
is an issue we will also be looking at, so any guidance on how you measured
service uptake (potential or actual) to inform decisions on single/double
manning would also be helpful.

many thanks
David
