We are pleased to announce that the CAQDAS Networking Project _formally_
starts its 5th period of ESRC funding today.

To celebrate this we are laying on 4 free seminars in quick succession - see
below.
The 'Software planning' seminars (Free) (the first advertised below) will
also travel
around the country during the year. The first will be held in York, the
second is likely to be in Southampton
Watch out for announcements.

Together with the Free seminar programme, a full programme of training
workshops
has been set for the coming year - see forthcoming events below.

We also welcome Christina Silver who has joined us on the project today, and
together with Ann Lewins will supplement the help, support and training as
provided by the project over the last 7 years. The project is co-directed by
Nigel Fielding
and Ray Lee.

TRAINING events are now being provided at two levels.
BASIC INTRODUCTORY INTENSIVE hands-on workshops continue thoughout the
year as before (see below)but FOLLOW-UP hands-on sessions will also be
scheduled
over 3 repeated periods during the year to allow small groups of
users to come together (5 max) to discuss their projects
and receive project oriented, intermediate to advanced training.
