Data extraction economic analysis Dear list,
Collated resources indicated by list members for appraisal / data extraction of economic analysis

York/CRD and the EEDS database were most frequently cited sources of information,
The BMJ was the second most frequently cited resource list members accessed, in particular:
Nixon et al, 2001, 322: 1596-1598,
And
Drummond et al, 1996, 313:275-283 – this I found extremely helpful

The
Harvard Center for Risk Analysis also have a form which appears extensive and comprehensive
The centre for evidence based medicine has levels of evidence that address economic studies
LaTrobe University  and Institute of Health Sciences Oxford both provided examples of forms they have used and were very helpful, I have not listed the names of the contributors as I did not have their permission to do so, but wish again to thank them for their support.
Cochrane is also doing some work in this area, but it does appear that as others have suggested, reviews of effectiveness are much further established, however this  appears to be an area of growing interest.

Regards,
Craig
