One of our masters level students has just told me he has received a diagnosis of "Adult attention deficit disorder." There doesn't seem to be much in the literature on this as a purely adult diagnosis, as apposed to childhood ADD, which persists. Anyone got any information or references on this condition, especially any idea of how it may affect his ability to complete a masters programme. Many thanks Alan O'Rourke ( I am medically qualified, but have done no formal psychiatry since my UG days).
