I always teach the Lower Sixth in Lesson 1 that when Sir Michael Jagger sings "I can't get no satisfaction" in the popular music hit 45 single of the 1960s, he is revealing his true nature - an educated economist who recognises that there are insufficient resources to meet all his wants and needs. He is expounding the economic problem in song, as we used to do in the good old days when youth culture had political consciousness :) Regards Richard Young AST Teacher of Business Studies, Economics & ICT Deputy Head of VI Form - Year 12 Wood Green School Woodstock Road Witney OX28 1DX Tel 01993 702355 Fax 01993 774961 www.woodgreen.oxon.sch.uk BECTa/Guardian Secondary School Web Site of the Year 2001 [log in to unmask] -----Original Message----- From: Economics, business, and related subjects [mailto:[log in to unmask]] On Behalf Of Mike Chester Sent: 01 October 2002 23:52 To: [log in to unmask] Subject: Re: Fame Academy - Go for it Ashley!
