On Wednesday/Thursday 6/7 November 2002 the Institute of Education will be
hosting a 2-day workshop on the National Child Development Study (NCDS) and
the 1970 British Cohort Study (BCS70).

The first day of this event will be of particular interest to researchers
who may be considering using data from the most recent sweep of the
surveys. The second day includes presentations of recent research findings,
news of the latest sweep and plans for the future. As part of the second
day Professor Heather Joshi will be presenting her findings on "Gender
differences in pay and work experience" using NCDS and BCS70 data.
