medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

The only Ars moriendi I could find was a facsimile of The ars moriendi
(editio princeps, circa 1450): a reproduction of the copy in the British
Museum, ed. W.H. Rylands (London: Holbein Society, 1881). It has a
warning against avarice & an injunction to remember the poor but
instructions on making wills.

Only a few brief references to the temptation to avarice are found in M.C.
O'Connor, The Art of dying well: Development of the Ars Moriendi (New
York: Columbia UPr, 1942).
