Dear all,
Does anyone have any references, prefereably peer-reviewed, etc, on why dyslexic users need
particular style fonts, layout, line-spacing, short lines, pale, plain coloured backgrounds,
etc?
I am working on a site for a University project on students with disabilities and what we
should/must provide for them. I have learned to use dyslexic-friendly layout and follow the
WAI guidelines on my Faculty pages because it seems to be the consensus online but am now being
hounded by academic colleagues for references. I have searched the Net pretty thoroughly, and
have made a start on print material but why reinvent the wheel?
Any references on VI users and their user interfaces to the Net would be helpful too?
Many thanks for any suggestions,
