Urban Geographer job

Position: Full-Time Tenure Stream Assistant Professor, York University, Toronto, Canada

Start Date: July 1st 2003

Applicants who have an interest in research and teaching in post-colonial cultural geography and who have an international (non-Canadian) research focus will be considered. Skill in the application of qualitative research methods would be an advantage. A PhD is required at the time of appointment. We seek an individual who will develop a vigorous research programme and who is committed to high quality undergraduate and graduate education. Applicants must be able to make an immediate contribution to the graduate programme. Experience supervising graduate students is an asset.
